The island of Cres is known for its natural beauty and its rich cultural and historical heritage. Our first thought associated with is certainly not its industry. However , in the long and turbulent history of the island, there is an also amazing story about the distillery of essential oils, which the authors of this exhibition now present to public.The business venture of Andrija Linardić , father and son, is a testimony to the courage and persistence of two people who, in unfavourable circumstances, started and maintained industrial production for several decades in a place that never had any industry before.
