To invite someone into your intimate circle, to share with him your innermost thoughts and deepest feelings is an act of trust and courage that only love can give. To invite all of us Unknown into the centre of the innermost feelings implies openness of heart that experienced the fullness of life and is not afraid to show it. Without false shame and hypocritical reluctance, "because nothing human is foreign to her," Emilija Duparova brings before us her own, "incomparable" experience of love and lovers’ rapture transformed into drawings created in one breath, spontaneous and sincere. Whether they arise from a sense of direct experience in that short time before the memory blurs the view or just present a product of fantasy, these drawings-records rise from the magma of the subconscious by power of direct gestures, almost automatically and without (self) censorship.
