About the Tower Gallery

The Tower Gallery is placed on the third floor of the Tower, small in size but with unique atmosphere. Since the opening in 2001 many artists have already exhibited in it – local artists who are bound to Veli Lošinj with their life and work (Nenad Levinger) or to the island of Lošinj in general (Iva Valentić, Ivo Magazzin), renowned Croatian contemporary artists (Zlatko Kauzlarić Atač, Ante Kuduz, Nives Kavurić Kurtović, Đuro Seder, peruško Bogdanić, Mihovil Depope, Šime Perić, Bojan Šumoja and others) and foreign authors (Ivo Prančić). Beside art exhibitions, certain museum exhibitions on local cultural and historical inheritance take place occasionally (Pre-Roman and  Early Roman Sculpture on Cres and Lošinj, Old postcards of Veli Lošinj from the collection of Dr. Goran Ivanišević from Zagreb, Dr. Ana Jakša (1896 – 1988) - children's friend and others). The Tower Gallery was placed among the reputable Croatian galleries in 2008.
